CONGLETON

ARCHITECT AIA

Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center is a child abuse treatment and prevention center, offering    services in three areas:  Parent therapy, child respite care, and public awareness.

Congleton Architect was commissioned to    design a facility accommodating these functions.   A major design determinate was the need to house child respite and parent therapy in the same building, but with a high level of separation for child security from the parent.

The sloping site allowed for ground-level access to both upper and lower levels of the building, with needed parking located below the building and child play areas.
