Salvation Army Family Assistance Residence

For many years, the Salvation Army has provided emergency housing for families in need through the rental of motel rooms in the community.  By building an oncampus facility to replace the motel rooms, the Army is able to use its funds for support programs rather than room rents.  An       Emergency Housing Assistance Grant has made possible the creation of this facility.

Congleton Architect has incorporated into the Family  Assistance Residence rooms which are family units, with bunk beds, kitchenettes and compartmented bathrooms.  These family units are supplemented with indoor and outdoor common living areas, and onsite managers.
